कारण: अंग्रेज़ी में “there is” के बाद हम noun (संज्ञा) लगाते हैं,
जैसे “There is rain”।लेकिन raining” जो verb (क्रिया) का continuous रूप है। Verb को “there is” के बाद नहीं लगाया जा सकता।
सही रूप:“Is it raining in Ranchi or not?” →
यहाँ “it” subject है और “raining” verb है।“
Is there rain in Ranchi or not?” → यहाँ “rain” noun है, इसलिए “there is” के साथ सही बैठता है।👉 आसान भाषा में:“raining” = बरस रहा है (क्रिया)“rain” = बारिश (संज्ञा)
